Happy National Day!
The remaining months of 2013 are going to be quite insane, as the die-hard fans and stans of Lady Gaga (Little Monsters), Katy Perry (Katycats) and Britney Spears (Britney Army) are going to prove.
In a nutshell...
For the LITTLE MONSTERS:
ARTPOP is going to be released on 11 November. The lead single, APPLAUSE, and its music video, are to be released on 19 August. ARTPOP will be available for pre-order on the same day.
Download the ARTPOP app from the Play Store and App Store, and you can purchase Applause and pre-order the album from within the app.
For the KATYCATS:
Katy Perry announced her new album Prism using a large golden truck!
It's going to be released on 22 October! In the past 2 weeks, Katy has been teasing fans about her new single, Roar, with a series of videos portraying the death of the Teenage Dream era.
Roar is set to be released on 12 August.
For the fans of NATALIA KILLS:
I'm pretty sure most of you have not heard of Natalia Kills, but I'm really quite a fan of hers. Ever since I heard her hit single Wonderland, I fell in love with her. And her music.
Trouble, her sophomore album, sounds rather different form her debut album Perfectionist. There's not so much of pop, but rather more of a darker sound, revealing her vulnerable side. Also, it's pretty badass if you ask me.
She's been promoting this new album for about a year now, since she released Controversy as a promotional single back in September last year. Since then, we've heard the lead single Problem, as well a leaked track Feel Myself. Last month, she released the second single, Saturday Night.
Trouble is going to be released 3 September!
Listen to Saturday Night here:
For the fans of ELLIE GOULDING:
Ellie Goulding is releasing a re-release of her sophomore album Halcyon, titled Halcyon Days. (Pretty sure you already know that.) There are 10 new tracks (with Burn being one of them) in addition to the tracks from Halcyon (and the hits: Anything Could Happen, Figure 8, Explosions).
It releases 26 August, but you can pre-order it on iTunes here (standard) and here (deluxe). There are SIGNED copies of the deluxe version on her website, and I pre-ordered mine there! Pre-order yours here.
Can't wait to get my hands on Halcyon Days later this month!
Listen to the single Burn here:
For the BRITNEY ARMY:
Britney has said that Album 8 is going to be her most personal album ever, and fans are really excited! Just a few days back, she posted on Facebook and tweeted an image of a "recipe" for Album 8, with the caption "Bingo!"
Well I can't wait for her to serve it! Meanwhile, we're just getting excited waiting for the Queen of Pop to announce the new album!
Get ready for a new era. Album 8. The Femme Fatale is back.
I guess you might need a summary of all the dates...
LADY GAGA: ARTPOP 11/11, Lead single Applause 19/8
KATY PERRY: Prism 22/10, Lead single Roar 12/8
NATALIA KILLS: Trouble 3/9
ELLIE GOULDING: Halcyon Days 26/8
BRITNEY SPEARS: Album 8, TBA!
So...which album are you the most excited for??
